Delivery Destinations

We deliver to any destination within the standard FedEx distribution network. Unfortunately we are unable to use FedEx to distribute within Malaysia and should customers in Malaysia be interested in artwork on our site, we recommend you contact the virtual curator to make alternative delivery arrangements.

Customs and Import Duties

Please note that for all orders, customers are responsible for customs and import duties of the destination country. Artisat.com can not determine what these fees will be. For more information contact your local customs office.

Condition of Products Shipped

All of our products are shipped in accordance with the condition stated on the product display data. Pieces will be shipped in one of the following categories; unframed, framed or rough framed.

Where appropriate unframed pieces will be rolled and placed in special packaging for convenience and economy of shipping.

Normal Delivery Times

Artisat prepares packs and despatches all orders within 10 business days. Once despatched from our warehouse you should allow 5-7 working days for delivery. The following formula can be used as a guideline.

(Preparation and Packing) + (Shipping Time) = Total Delivery Time

Product Tracking

Because each of our products is unique we want to ensure they are delivered directly to you and reach you in pristine condition. For this reason all our pieces are shipped by FedEx, using their unique 'COSMOS' tracking system. Once the product has been shipped you will be issued with an Airway Bill (AWB) Number and forwarded a link to the FedEx web site where you will be able to trace the current location of your goods.

We have engaged this service to ensure that your product investment is protected all the way from the Artisat warehouse to your doorstep.

Other information you should be aware of

Some of our products have a relatively high value and in an attempt to minimise the risk of fraud and to ensure that we are only dealing with serious and legitimate customers, Artisat has also adopted the following policies.

· Fully traceable registered shipping.
· Deliveries will only be made to physical addresses where receipt can be signed for (no P.O. Boxes)
· Delivery will only be made to neutral addresses such as hotel rooms and suites subject to a secondary verification process.
· If Artisat has any doubt regarding the authenticity of any customer or delivery address, Artisat reserves the right to implement a secondary verification process prior to shipping the product. This procedure will involve the customer providing an independently despatched reference from a recognised bank, financial or legal institution. Goods will only be shipped once Artisat has verified the legitimacy of the reference; therefore Normal Delivery Times will not apply.
· We ship to all destinations within the standard FedEx delivery programme
· Orders received after 12.00pm will be processed the following business day.

Shipping Rates

You need to be aware that shipping rates may not always be based on the actual weight. The Shipping Company (FedEx) uses two methods of calculating weight and they use whichever Kilogram value works out to be the highest.

1. The actual weight, or;
2.
A calculation of the Height (cm) x Width (cm) x Depth (cm) = Kilogram Value

We base our sizes for shipping calculations on the anticipated size of package after packing and wrapping, therefore the weights shown are the 'shipping weight' (or as FedEX term it is the 'Dimensional Weight').

Example 85 (cm) x 85 (cm) x 8 (cm) = 57,800 = 9.63 Kg
